The roots of our search engine optimization business date back to 1995 when the owner of the company, Maqsood Ahmed, became enthusiastic about all things Internet during his university days in Japan. I started playing with HTML, Frontpage and Photoshop which later became the basis of my strong interest in search engines and web designing.

In 2001, while working with Isle Inc. a web hoting company and now a subsidiary of Global Media Online, Japan I successfully negotiated a business deal with the then famous web analytics firm, Urchin, now known as Google Analytics. I also actively became involved in the site submission issues with various search engines of the time and started piling up my knowledge of site ranking, web analytics and e-marketing issues of that time.

In 2005, after leaving my previous employer in Tokyo, I started my own small SEO company called Optimize Your Site and started my renewed love with search engine optimization which is growing day in and day out.
