Who We Are?
Maqsood Ahmed, Chief SEO Evangelist
The roots of my search engine optimization business date back to 1995 when I became enthusiastic about all things Internet during my university days in Japan. I started playing with HTML, Frontpage and Photoshop which later became the basis of my strong interest in search engines and web designing.
In 2001, while working with Isle Inc. a web hoting company and now a subsidiary of Global Media Online, Japan I successfully negotiated a business deal with the then famous web analytics firm, Urchin, now known as Google Analytics. A familiar name? Just check out Google Analytics in any of the search engine of your choice.
At that time, I actively got involved in the site submission issues with various search engines of the time and started piling up my knowledge of site ranking, web analytics and e-marketing issues of that time.
In 2005, after leaving my previous employer in Tokyo, I started my own small SEO company called Optimize Your Site and started my renewed love with search engine optimization which is growing day in and day out.
